We are a collaborative ecosystem with best-in-class amenities where industry, small business, workforce training, entrepreneurs, startups, and venture capital intersect with the aerospace and defense industry to create community, spark innovation, and stimulate business growth.
THE CAMPUS VISION
Our Vision is to be the nation’s leading collaboration and innovation ecosystem for private industry, academia, government, and allies by serving as a trusted agnostic partner to accelerate solutions for the execution of the national defense strategy.
Our Mission is to:
- Initiate, Cultivate, and Enhance public-private partnerships between industry, academia and government in support of the national security innovation base.
- Facilitate the integration of solutions by creating opportunities and engagements for all factions of the traditional aerospace and defense industry along with non-traditional start-ups and entrepreneurs.
- Advance innovative and disruptive technologies by providing a platform to incubate, accelerate and decrease ‘time to market’ for technologies that support government missions.
Campus Origins
In 2015, the O’Neil Group Company purchased a three-building campus focused around the old Santa Fe Railroad Depot in Eastern Downtown Colorado Springs. Between renovation, expansion and a vision to bring small business, academia and government together to solve real problems, the Catalyst Campus has become a thriving environment for technological advancement and the delivery of capability to the Air Force and Space Force. The Catalyst Campus has supported the growth of the downtown Colorado Springs economy, to the tune of over 1,000 employees and $270M in economic impact from a combined direct, indirect and induced effect on the economy according to a recent study.
